Grant Application Schedule

The grant is open for application in the October application round. Applications close at 4 pm Finnish time (EET) on the last day of the application period.

Eligible Applicants

PhDs are eligible to apply for a grant for research. The grant is not intended for research groups or organizations.

Grant Purpose

The topic of the research can be related to art collecting, collectors' collections, memorial houses or artists in the Kirpilä Art Collection.

You can apply for a grant for personal work and possible research expenses. Multi-year research plans have priority.

The Kirpilä Art Collection offers researchers the opportunity to do archival work and research artworks at the Art Collection, but not a permanent workstation.

The application is submitted to the Online Application Service during the October application period. Choose this special purpose grant from the Grant Type menu on the Application page of the application form.
