Applications for Central Fund grants must be submitted between October 1 and October 30, 2009 via the electronic grant application system.

Only applications that have been delivered to the Finnish Cultural Foundation both electronically and as a signed copy on paper will be considered. The information in them must be identical. Applications are evaluated both electronically and on paper.

Applications postmarked in Finland on the last day of the application period will be accepted. Applications sent from abroad must reach the Fund by the last day of the application period. Applications can also be delivered in person to the Foundation's office at Bulevardi 5 A 13 in Helsinki, by Friday 30 October at the latest.

Faxed or emailed applications will not be considered, nor will late applications.

To ensure a smooth operation of the electronic system, please present your application in good time before the deadline.

New application process for post doc -research abroad

The Finnish Cultural Foundation doesn't process grant applications for post doc -research abroad from October 2009. Some of the biggest foundations in Finland will launch a new application process for this purpose at the beginnig of 2010. For further information, please refer to the Foundation's website in January.
