Yrjö Reenpää -luennot 1979-2008
Vuosina 1979-2008 Kulttuurirahasto kutsui luennoitsijoiksi eri alojen johtavia tieteentekijöitä ja kulttuurivaikuttajia. Tarkoituksena oli esitellä merkittävää tutkimusta ja rikastuttaa tiede- ja kulttuurikeskustelua. Luennoitsijalle luovutettiin Wäinö Aaltosen suunnittelema Yrjö Reenpää -mitali.
Vuonna 2009 Yrjö Reenpää -luento muutettiin apurahaksi Yrjö Reenpään nimeä kantavaan vierailuun, jota kaikki yliopistojen laitokset voivat hakea.
